Most hybrid batteries in Bangladesh give years of good service, but heat, stop-start traffic and blocked cooling fans shorten their life. Watch for these signs:
- The engine runs more often — even at low speed in traffic.
- The battery gauge drops quickly and then jumps back up.
- Fuel economy falls noticeably compared with last month.
- A loud battery cooling fan under or behind the rear seat.
- The hybrid warning light (red triangle) appears.
A module-level health test tells you whether balancing, replacing a few modules or a full pack is the sensible option. Cleaning the cooling fan and duct once a year is one of the cheapest ways to protect the battery.
